Church Hosts Clothing Giveaway

Church Hosts Clothing Giveaway

Warm clothing is a vital need especially during the winter months - but for many families it's not always an easy need to provide.

The "free closet" at the Ransom Church in Sioux Falls hopes to help fill the void for those struggling by hosting the clothing giveaway. Loving their neighbors through serving is part of what the church strives for.

“Sometime we think it's just the homeless or a certain type of group but you know what we all have crises and we all have times where we need each other and so that’s one thing I love about this event is that it’s for anybody,” Ransom Church Admin Assistant Angel Metzger.

The church which is located in down town Sioux Falls - holds two "free closet" events each year. Organizers say they continue to developing the program to help with peoples immediate needs also.
