Christmas Tree Drop-Off Sites Open In Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

If you are ready to put the decorations away, you can drop off real Christmas trees at a couple of locations in Sioux Falls.

Trees are being accepted at 301 North Lyon Boulevard, west of the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds, between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday.  You can also drop-off trees at the City Landfill, located five miles west of Sioux Falls on 41st Street, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  The drop-off sites are open through Saturday, January 19, 2013 but closed January 1, 2013. 

Before you drop off your tree, you need to remove all accessories including lights, ornaments, decorations and stands.
