SIOUX FALLS, SD -
While many of us celebrated Christmas two weeks ago, the animals at The Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls had to wait until Saturday.
Dozens of people came out to see the animals unwrap presents and chew on Christmas trees.
The zoo does it as part of the animals enrichment efforts and encourage animals natural behaviors, and it gives the chance for people to see what normally goes on behind the scenes of the zoo daily.
