Indoor Football League legend Chris Dixon, who recently signed with the Tampa Bay Storm of the AFL, will retire at season's end.
The veteran quarterback led Sioux Falls to its fourth straight IFL championship last month, and was named United Bowl MVP for the third time. In ten professional seasons, Dixon led the Storm, Billings Outlaws, and Eastside Hawks to a total of six championships, and is a three-time IFL MVP.
Including his stats from the AFL, Dixon has thrown for more than 25,000 yards and 600 touchdowns. As a starter, Dixon was 48-1 in three seasons with Sioux Falls, leading the Storm to a trio of championships.
