Two organizations that have worked for decades to help people with disabilities and to make sure everyone has the opportunities they deserve are joining forces.
"I am honored to announce that the governing boards of Children's Care and South Dakota Achieve have unanimously voted to affirm the joining of our two agencies effective today," Lifescape Board of Directors member Jack Hopkins said.
The two organizations will now be known as Lifescape. Working together, they say they can better serve all of their clients from childhood through adulthood.
"We will continue to support every child and every adult who currently receives services and the team of staff who provides these services won't change," Lifescape CEO Anne Rieck McFarland said.
Children's Care has been in Sioux Falls since 1952; Achieve has been helping people since 1958.
