Twenty-four-year-old Miranda Tran was arrested Thursday for allegedly shaking her four-month-old baby. This morning, we have learned that the little boy has died.
Lincoln County State's Attorney Tom Wollman has confirmed that the four-month-old child of Miranda Tran has died. He passed away early this morning.
Wollman says he will be filing a second degree murder charge against Tran. She will appear in court for a hearing at 11:30 this morning.
The extent of the child's injuries are still unknown at this time but Wollman says that information will be available after an autopsy. Tran was arrested yesterday after calling 911 saying that her baby boy was unresponsive.
