Child Identification Program Hosting Event In Worthing
PIERRE, SD -

The South Dakota Child Identification Program along with MASONICHIP is hosting an event in Worthing on Saturday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is part of a program generates packages of various identifying items of children, given to parents to use in case their child goes missing.

Materials collected include:

  • Dental Impressions
  • DNA Cheek Swab
  • Digital Still Photo
  • Fingerprints
  • Video Interview

The kit aids law enforcement in the recovery of a missing child and is offered to the public for free.

Those interested can go to the Worthing Lodge on Main Street or visit their website at www.sd-chip.org.

This program is a kit that is collected for parents to take with them. There are no microchips involved.
