An upcoming child identification program is happening in Whitewood, SD.
Hosted by the South Dakota Masons and Attorney General Marty Jackley, the South Dakota Child Identification Program event generates completed packages of various identifying items of children for parents or guardians. These items will be used in case the child becomes missing and aids law enforcement in finding them.
Items collected are: dental impressions, DNA cheek swab, digital still photo, finger prints and video imaged interview.
The event is held on Tuesday, March 18 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The program is free of charge and all items collected will be returned to the family.
