Chicago To Play At Events Center For Chamber Meeting

August 6, 2014, 11:00 AM by Angela Kennecke

Chicago To Play At Events Center For Chamber Meeting
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The band Chicago will be taking the stage at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center for a private concert.

This year's Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting will be held October 21 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center and the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Dana Dykhouse of First PREMIER Bank will take over as Chair of the Board.

This year's theme is "The Premier Event," and will showcase the new events center.

Chamber members will receive their invitations after Labor Day, but they can reserve tickets now. Only Chamber members may purchase tickets. Because this is a private event, owners of special seating at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center are not eligible to use their reserved seats.

The cost is $80 per person for Chamber members. Chamber members can pre-order tickets by contacting Maddie Gutierrez at the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce at 605-373-2015 or mgutierrez@siouxfalls.com, or can purchase tickets online at events.siouxfalls.com.

Chicago is the first American rock band to chart top 40 albums in six decades. The band has been touring for 47 years. Chicago's record sales top the 100 million mark and include 21 top 10 singles, five consecutive No. 1 albums, 11 No. 1 singles and five Gold singles. 25 of their 36 albums have been certified platinum, and the band has a total of 47 gold and platinum awards. Chicago's premiere studio album, The Chicago Transit Authority, was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
