SIOUX FALLS, SD -
A Sioux Falls committee that is looking at making changes to the city's governing document will take public input one final time.
The Charter Revision Commission is scheduled to meet at Carnegie Town Hall at 3 p.m. on Friday.
Earlier this month, the commission drew criticism from citizens and city councilors when it made a recommendation to amend how much power the mayor's office has in some every day decisions. The revision would allow the mayor more control over contract negotiations and employee discipline, among other things.
The group has also drawn fire for reaching its conclusions so quickly after Mayor Mike Huether named members to the commission.
