Charges Against Larson Reduced
May 9, 2011, 4:50 PM
Charges against former Roosevelt basketball standout and now Florida Gator Cody Larson and his teammate Erik Murphy have been reduced to second-degree misdemeanor trespass.
Both initially faced third-degree felony charges after being arrested last month for allegedly trying to break into a car. The charges were reduced after authorities consulted with the victim and determined the incident was an unsophisticated crime.
Larson and Murphy have paid restitution to the victim to get a headlight fixed.
A court date has yet to be set for the two players to enter a plea.
