Changes At Empire Mall

January 29, 2014, 3:40 PM by Angela Kennecke

Changes At Empire Mall

A clothing store that caters to teenagers has closed in the Empire Mall.   The Abercrombie & Fitch brand, Hollister, is no longer open.  According to the company, the store was under-performing and part of its long-term strategy is to close those stores that aren't doing as well. There are more than 500 Hollister stores in the U.S.

Empire Mall management says it gives the mall the opportunity to bring in a new retailer.

That's not the only change at the Empire Mall.  Todd's Naturalizer is closing this week making room for Francesca's, a women's boutique.

In addition, Linda Lee's Hallmark has relocated next to Applebee's.
