Minnesota Vikings Linebacker Chad Greenway played the role of hero earlier this month.
He helped rescue two people on Lake Minnetonka when their boat's motor stalled.
"The boat thing was fine. It was really just right place and right time, you would hope that anyone would have done the same thing in that situation. Had the cameras not been there, no one would have heard about it. The cameras were there filming the flooding and the spill way, which never happens," Greenway said.
The picture was originally Tweeted by Twin Cities news station KARE-11 and quickly went viral.
Greenway was in Sioux Falls Friday for the Sanford/Hy-Vee legends football clinic.
