USD travels to SDSU on Saturday for the first meeting between the two football teams in nine years.
SDSU will be fighting for an FCS Playoff spot as they come in with a record of 7-3 (5-2 in the MVFC). USD currently is riding an 8-game losing streak, including an 0-7 mark in Missouri Valley Conference play.
The Coyotes hold the edge in the series all with an all-time record of 50-48-7, but the Jackrabbits have won 5 of the last 6 meetings.
