Cause Of Mitchell Explosion Ruled 'Suspicious'

Investigators in Mitchell say the cause of this weekend's house explosion is now suspicious.

The city's chief of public safety says evidence found at the scene during the investigation now leads authorities to believe the natural gas explosion was not accidental.  Investigators with the state fire marshal's office and the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agencies have been called in to assist.

Nobody was home at the time of the blast. The force of the explosion blew out windows and dislocated the house from its foundation.
