Catfish Bay Hosts Ice Fishing Tourney

SIOUX FALLS, SD - Water skiing season is more than a few months away, but that didn't stop some Sioux Falls skiiers from taking to their lake. This time it was to fish.
More than 250 anglers hit the ice at Catfish Bay Saturday. First timers and veteran fishers braved the cold for the biggest catch for top prizes.
"A lot of the farms in the region used to come and stock the lake before it was known it was a private lake. So there's a lot of fish that are 10-15 years old," said organizer Allen Goodroad.
All money raised during the tournament helps fund Catfish Bay's water-skiing programs.
