Car Versus Bike Crash Near 41st And Marion

A car versus bike crash happened at the intersection of 41st Street and Larch Avenue.

The call came in just after 4 p.m., and an ambulance took the bicyclist to the hospital.

The victim was riding on the sidewalk from Roosevelt High School along 41st Street when a Honda Civic hit her, pushing her into the street.  Police say the victim is a 15-year-old girl and her injuries are not serious.

The Civic driver, an 88-year-old woman, has been cited

The crash comes one week after a woman riding a bicycle was hit and killed near the Outdoor Campus.
