Car Vandalized In Sioux Falls

A single mother woke up on Sunday morning to find her car spray painted and tires slashed just days after giving birth.

Sioux Falls Police knocked on Jennifer Pitts' door early Sunday morning after she just returned from the hospital. Someone wrote KKK and other derogatory words in gold spray paint on her SUV parked outside her home overnight.

"It's sad. I obviously can't take my kids to school with something like that. My tires are slashed. I don't know what would bring somebody to do something like that," Pitts said.

Pitts believes she was targeted because police say her vehicle was the only one vandalized on her street. It is currently being investigated by detectives.
