RAPID CITY, SD -
Despite the damage, everyone involved in a Rapid City crash is expected to be OK.
Police say three people were in the front seat of green Ford Taurus when the driver lost control, hitting a handful of cars and slamming into a tree. At that point, the car split in half and hit two additional vehicles.
The driver, 19-year-old Corina Sitting Bear, is accused of underage drinking, driving drunk and driving with a suspended license. Two passengers are also charged with underage drinking.
Police say that all three people involved in the weekend crash went to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
