Car Lands In Slough, Two Charged With DUI

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
A man and a woman face drunk driving charges after officials responded to a car in a slough just west of Sioux Falls.
The Highway Patrol says the woman was behind the wheel when the car that went into a slough just off 57th Street and the Tea Road around 2:30 Wednesday.
The man then drove his pickup truck to the area to help get the car out, and both were charged with DUI.
The Highway Patrol not only believes alcohol was involved in the incident, but that texting while driving was also a factor. No one was hurt.
