Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a car fire inside a garage complex around 9:30 p.m. Monday. It happened at the Redwood Estates on 6th Street and Bahnson Avenue.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in about ten minutes. The flames were contained to the car but the garage complex did receive damage from the smoke.
No one was injured.
The cause is still under investigation but fire officials are reminding drivers to warm up their cars outside of garages.
