Police in Rapid City are investigating a crash involving a car that ran into a house.
Just before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, police say a Chevy Impala crashed into a house going through the living room and into a bedroom. The home was on N. Maple Avenue.
A woman was inside the living room but was not hurt.
Investigators say the driver ran over the curb on the west side of the road, over corrected, drove across both lanes and hit the house on the east side. Police estimate the vehicle was going up to 60 miles per hour at the time.
The driver, 20-year-old Jamie Tom of Rapid City, and a passenger were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Tom was arrested for DUI, not having a driver's license, as well as having an open container in the vehicle, among other charges.
