A 19-year-old Rock Valley, Iowa, man has been charged with trespassing after a video camera was found in the window of a Sheldon high school girl.
Cody Van Otterloo faces trespassing charges after the brother of the teen girl found a camera in her window Wednesday.
The mother called Sheldon police and then watched to see if someone would come to pick up the camera. Court documents say Van Otterloo showed up around 8:30 p.m. that night and was arrested and charged with trespassing.
Van Otterloo pleaded guilty to a similar charge in Lyon County, Iowa, last summer when he was caught going through the underwear drawer of a girl in Doon, Iowa.
Authorities served a search warrant on Van Otterloo’s home Thursday and seized phones, computers and electronic storage devices.
Van Otterloo is currently out on a $300 bond.
