CUSTER STATE PARK, SD -
From a distance, Custer State Park's Buffalo Roundup is powerful. Up close, it's intense.
The South Dakota tourism office set up a camera along a fence leading to the corrals. As you can see, they got an impressive perspective of Monday's roundup, but the close-up view didn't last.
During the final push into the corrals, some of the buffalo crushed part of the fence.
