Brown County School Lockdown Lifted

December 21, 2012, 9:04 AM

ABERDEEN, SD -

School officials locked down schools in Brown County Friday morning after reports of suspicious activity.

Friday morning, an Aberdeen Central student reported seeing someone with a gun in the parking lot.

Aberdeen police say they had also noticed some vague threats toward schools posted in online chats.

A search of every school in the county did not find a threat to the schools and officials lifted the lockdown by 9:15 a.m.
