Work to replace a bridge on Highway 2 in Bon Homme County is scheduled to begin next Monday, April 21.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation says Dakota Contracting Corp. of Sioux Falls will be doing the work three miles west of Scotland. The current structure will be replaced with a box culvert.
The $322,000 project is schedule to be completed by Sept. 1.
The road will be closed to all traffic in the area of the construction, and motorists will need to find an alternate route.
