Crews were still out over night cleaning up after Thursday's blizzard. Earlier Friday morning, crews were focusing their attention on clearing the parking lots. Some started their shift at 10 p.m. Thursday and they plan on working until later Friday morning.
Along with clearing the parking lots and side walks some crews will treat the icy roads and mop up any snow from large drifts.
Wind speeds peaked close to 60 miles per hour in Sioux Falls Friday. Now wind speeds are around 10-15mph.
"They were bad. It seems like as quick as we get them cleaned off, the snow would blow right back on them. It was kind of never ending duty. I was ready for winter to never start," independent snow plow driver Javier Chavara said.
Winds were calm Friday morning, but that could change sometime this weekend.
