The Black Hills Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is responding to four forest fires.
Volunteers are helping evacuees, reconnecting displaced families with their loved ones and making sure firefighters are getting enough food and water.
The chapter is also on alert to open a shelter in Belle Fourche in response to a Montana fire.
