Black Hills Federal Credit Union has opened a branch in Pierre. Construction on the site, at 1530 N. Garfield Avenue, just south of Wal-Mart, took more than a year.
BHFCU’s new 6,662-square-foot Member Service Center hosts nine offices, five drive-up lanes, and an ATM.
BHFCU will also have tablets for children who come in with apps and games to keep them entertained and help them learn about saving and spending wisely.
Established in Rapid City in 1941, Black Hills Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative. The community-chartered credit union has Member Service Centers in Rapid City, Custer, Eagle Butte, Hot Springs, Spearfish and Wall, South Dakota. The Pierre Member Service Center marks BHFCU’s first location in the capital city and twelfth Member Service Center in South Dakota.
BHFCU’s Pierre Member Service Center is located at 1530 N. Garfield Avenue, with lobby hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drive-up hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. For more information, visit bhfcu.com.
