Black Hills Federal Credit Union has opened a branch in Pierre.   Construction on the site, at 1530 N. Garfield Avenue, just south of Wal-Mart, took more than a year.

BHFCU’s new 6,662-square-foot Member Service Center hosts nine offices, five drive-up lanes, and an ATM.

BHFCU will also have tablets for children who come in with apps and games to keep them entertained and help them learn about saving and spending wisely.

The community-chartered credit union has Member Service Centers in Rapid City, Custer, Eagle Butte, Hot Springs, Spearfish and Wall, South Dakota.
