Big changes are in store for Ribfest, the annual summer food and outdoor music gathering in Sioux Falls.
This year the event has a new sponsor, Dollar Loan Center, and it will move from the Sioux Falls Arena parking lot to the W. H. Lyon Fairgrounds.
Chuck Brennan, Dollar Loan Center CEO and Sioux Falls Rock and Roll Academy founder, says officials contacted him because they wanted to take Ribfest to the next level.
This year, Brennan says 12 national acts will be coming to the summer event. Some of those include Dee Snider from Twisted Sister, Mike Reno from Loverboy, Rickey Medlocke from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Keifer from Cinderella and more.
Brennan says all of the acts will be announced at 1 p.m. Friday and he promises it will be one of the biggest concerts in the Midwest.
