Authorities say the driver of a semi that rolled on Interstate 29 hadn't been drinking but alcohol was involved in the crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the driver fell asleep while driving north on I29 near Summit Wednesday morning. He woke up and over-corrected, causing the semi to go into the median and roll. Cases of beer that the semi was hauling spilled into the median.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt and received serious, non-life threatening injuries.
