Nic Peterson's 15 points led Brandon Valley to a 57-51 win over top-ranked Sioux Falls Roosevelt Friday in the semifinals of the South Dakota boys Class AA basketball tournament.
Peterson had three 3-pointers and was 5 for 13 from the field for the Lynx (18-6), who are looking for their first title since 1998.
Jacob Adams had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Lynx and teammate Chase Marso had 10 points. He was 6 for 6 from the line.
Roosevelt's Jeremiah Clark had 13 points and Nate Cole and Tyler Howard had 10 points apiece.
