Aberdeen Roncalli pulled away after halftime to beat Pine Ridge 52-32 Friday in a consolation game at the South Dakota boys Class A basketball tournament.
The Cavaliers (17-5) outscored the Thorpes 34-14 in the second half to move into the fifth-place game. They shot 44 percent from the field and made 17 of 20 free throws.
Dominic King made seven of 13 shots from the field en route to 17 points. He also had nine rebounds. Kory Schwan added 10 points.
Pine Ridge (14-10) got a team-high 12 points and six rebounds from Jeff Lebeau
