School officials at two high schools in South Dakota have postponed a regional championship game after one of the players died in a car crash this weekend along with three members of her family.
Officials at Madison and Sioux Falls Christian schools rescheduled Thursday night's Region 3A girls' championship game to Saturday at 3 p.m. at Tea Area High School.
A prayer service has been scheduled for Thursday to honor 16-year-old Alyssa Vollmer, her father James, her mother Julie and her 13-year-old brother Caleb. All four died in a car crash near Sioux Falls on Saturday.
Alyssa Vollmer was a member of the Sioux Falls Christian girls' basketball team.
