Bankers Funding Spring Possibilities With Dollar Bills

Bankers Funding Spring Possibilities With Dollar Bills

A Sioux Falls bank is handing out green to get people in the mood for spring. First PREMIER Bank employees took to downtown with dollars in hand hoping to inspire people to make a fresh start.

"Green one-dollar bills. Nice, fresh, one-dollar bills," banker Ken Breaw said.

The dollar bills are meant to inspire people to think about making a fresh start.

About 30 employees from First PREMIER Bank greeted passers-by near the Cookie Jar in downtown Sioux Falls.

With some nice temps on Thursday, the exercise was as fun for those receiving the money as it was for the bankers giving it away.

"Give them a reminder of what spring is all about. It's a fresh start. We have so many possibilities going forward this summer. We want to be part of that. We want to be able to fund their possibilities," Breaw said.

While the cold is set to return for the rest of this week, spring will eventually make it here in full force. It's already been a long-time coming for many.

"You can see by my gray hair, I've had a lot of winters and this is probably by far the worst one I've seen," Breaw said.
