Badlands National Park is partnering with a non-profit organization that supports restoration and preservation of park resources to host a community event in Rapid City on Sunday.
The Badlands Bash is designed to bring awareness of the work The Friends of the Badlands does. The organization supports interpretative, educational and scientific programs at the national park. The event is running in conjunction with National Public Lands Day, which was Saturday.
The Badlands Bash will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Main Street Square in Rapid City. Several local musicians will be featured. There will also be information booths about the Badlands set up and activities for kids.
