SIOUX FALLS, SD -

There's a search going on for a South Dakota prison inmate who left a minimum-security unit in Sioux Falls without authorization.

Gregory Lewandowski left Unit C of the Jameson Annex to the South Dakota State Penitentiary Saturday morning.

He is serving a 9 year, 7 month sentence with 3 years suspended for fifth offense DWI out of Day County.

The 47-year-old man is around 6' tall and weighs 220 pounds.  He has brown hair and blue eyes.

If you see Lewandowski or know where he might be, you are asked to contact law enforcement.
