Not many drivers have ventured onto the icy roads so far Saturday morning.
South Dakota authorities report few weather-related crashes since the rain started falling Friday night.
The Day County Sheriff's Department in Webster says roads there have about a half-inch of ice on them.
Roberts County is telling people don't drive if you don't have to.
The rain made roads slushy and icy in the Sisseton area, plus, fog reduced visibility for drivers.
