A group of attorneys takes time away from the office Friday, to play dodgeball and color with kids.
Davenport Evans of Sioux Falls is celebrating its 75th anniversary. As part of the celebration, they're donating 75 things to 12 different charities.
Friday, they gave dodge balls, soccer balls, and coloring materials to the kids at the Multi Cultural Center. On top of the donation, they stuck around to play with the kids.
"It's a win win situation because we have fun doing it and the kids are having a great time. And so it's good exercise too," attorney with Davenport Evans, Vince Roche said.
"It means a lot to have a group come out and not only to donate, which like I said is fantastic. But to spend time. They were here at 12:30. They're going to be here until 2:30. That is awesome, that they're taking their time out of their busy day to come work with our kids," Executive Director for the Mulit Cultural Center, Christy Nicolaisen said.
The Multi Cultural Center is always looking for donations for its summer camps and after school program. Things like markers, paper and snacks are all appreciated by the group.
