A Mobridge woman charged with attempted murder in a January stabbing has been sentenced on a lesser charge.
Thirty-six-year-old Denise Marin pleaded guilty to aggravated assault under a plea agreement with prosecutors and was sentenced to 1 ½ years in prison.
Authorities say the woman who also goes by the name Denise Little Dog stabbed another person in the face. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.
