Assault Suspect Jumps Into Big Sioux

May 30, 2014, 11:04 AM by Andy Graning

Assault Suspect Jumps Into Big Sioux
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

An 18-year-old Sioux Falls man is in jail for allegedly hitting an 11-year-old boy outside a popular pool.

Police answered the assault call around 5:40 Thursday afternoon at the Drake Springs parking lot.

There they found the victim, his dad and 18-year-old Deeddrick Good.

After talking to police, Good claimed the 11 year old called one of his friends a name.

Good then ran towards the Big Sioux River and went in.

Officers eventually did catch up to Good and charge him with abusing a minor, resisting arrest and several other crimes.
