Art Auction Benefits Habitat For Humanity

The Sioux Falls Habitat for Humanity celebrates Earth Day a little early with the first annul ReStorAtion Art Auction. Artist from around the area chose an item from Habitats ReStore and transform it into a work of art to benefit the organization.

“They are original piece that are from some companies inventory room or somebodies back room or somebodies garage and it all comes together in this room to create something beautiful,” said Niki Schillerstorm, community relations director for Habitat for Humanity of Sioux Falls.

Organizers say the event was a big hit and hope to do it again next year. For more information Habitat for Humanity's website at
