Apps To Help You Beat The Flu

Fighting the flu can be a daunting task. But there are a few smart phone apps designed to help you in your battle.

Here's a look at some of the top ones available for free: 

The Flu Tracker is a handy resource updated with information from the CDC with information about flu activity in all parts of the country. It can even tell you where there is a vaccination location near you.

Another helpful tool is the Flu Defender. This Apple app can analyze your symptoms and help identify if you are possibly coming down with the flu. It can also give you prevention tips on how to keep you and your family healthy.

Web M.D. is a well known medical app that is very helpful at identifying symptoms you might be experiencing. You can select the section of your body that is ailing you and enter your symptoms, while the app determines a possible diagnosis without ever leaving your home. This app can even offer some treatment options if you are coming down with the virus.
