Another Sexual Assault Reported In Brookings
April 20, 2010, 1:14 PM
BROOKINGS, SD -
Brookings Police Chief Jeff Miller is cautioning women not go out alone after dark, after a 24-year-old woman was kidnapped, raped and robbed at knifepoint.
The early Tuesday incident followed two recent assaults on the South Dakota State University campus.
Miller says the description of the attacker is the same - a black man of average to slim build, between 5-feet-8 inches and 6 feet tall. No suspects have been identified.
Miller says the latest assault did not occur on campus. The victim was treated at a hospital and released.
