Annette Bosworth Indicted By Grand Jury
PIERRE, SD -

Annette Bosworth has been indicted by a grand jury following allegations of election law violations, Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today. An appearance date is scheduled for June 23 at 10 a.m. at the Hughes County Courthouse.

Bosworth was indicted on six counts of offering false or forged instrument for filing, a class 6 felony punishable by a maximum sentence of two years imprisonment and/or a $4,000 fine. She is also indicted on six counts of perjury, a class 6 felony, punishable by a maximum sentence of two years imprisionment and/or a $4,000 fine.

An indictment is a formal accusation that a person may have committed a crime.
