SIOUX FALLS, SD -
You may not have your Christmas shopping done, but it's already time to talk after-Christmas sales.
Everyone knows you can get good deals on holiday decorations for next year, but there are other bargains to hold out for after December 25th.
Because it's time for returns, the sales after Christmas are typically focused within the brick-and-mortar stores.
Last year, many of the national retailers you find in the mall offered half off their merchandise in the store the day after Christmas. The website
dealnews.com is expecting the same kinds of sales this year and encourages shoppers to watch for printable coupons and ads from clothing stores.
There are of course, still plenty of online sales to be had as well. The most discounted items the week after Christmas include clothing and shoes, along with general department store sales.
It's not just clothing that will be a bargain right after Christmas.
According to dealnews.com, popular video games are expected to reach their rock bottom price of the year.
In 2010 those discounts came from Target, Kmart, Amazon and Best Buy.
But according to dealnews.com, if you're expecting Black Friday-like sales, the offers won't be quite as good, post holiday.
