Crews are pulling the remaining debris of the car Pam Jackson and Sherri Miller were driving. We went up in a plane over Union County to get an aerial view of the recovery efforts.
This rural road in Union County is full of activity, as crews lift out the 1960 Studebaker the teenage girls were last seen in, more than 40 years ago.
A large excavator working on the banks brought the car to the shoreline.
The car is so decomposed from being under water for several decades, parts have been falling off into the water. There is an orange fence downstream from the recovery area to keep any loose debris from floating away.
It's a little hard to see, but the base of the car has been laid on a trailer behind a pick-up truck.
You can also see a large tarp under a blue tent near the creek, where investigators collected car parts.
