ABERDEEN, SD - Aberdeen Central High School students are circulating a petition to send to state leaders along with a letter opposing budget cuts to education.
Student body president Kaylee Bahr said student leaders started passing the petition around the high school Tuesday and will continue to do so Wednesday. So far Bahr says she and student senate members have received a positive response from fellow students.
Student leaders will compile the signatures Wednesday before passing them on to state leaders.
