A Look At Minnesota's 2013 Medical Marijuana Bill

One of the biggest areas supporters and opponents in Minnesota may need to work out is the amount of marijuana patients can have.

A bill introduced last year would let users have up to two-and-a-half ounces of marijuana. It would also allow patients to grow up to 12 marijuana plants.

There is a long list of possible conditions that could possibly qualify for marijuana use, including seizure disorders, cancer, HIV or others the Commissioner of Health approves.

Patients would need apply for a state-issued ID card in order to buy pot at a state-registered dispensary.

There are several conditions patents need to meet when applying for the ID, including a $100  application fee.
