WOONSOCKET, SD -
A 93-year-old Huron woman has died in a three-vehicle crash east of Woonsocket, in Sanborn County.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says Rosemary Swenson was a passenger in a van that turned in front of a semi and was struck, then spun and hit a third vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene of Wednesday afternoon's crash.
The patrol says Swenson's driver, 85-year-old Oleta Linke of Woonsocket, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. The drivers of the semi and the third vehicle were not hurt, but a passenger suffered minor injuries.
